Wabaunsee Resource Council strives to develop a healthy community through collaborative planning, education, action, and policy advocacy. We envision a healthier, safer community for all Wabaunsee County residents to enjoy.Profile
Wabaunsee Resource Council is comprised of many different organizations that provide resources to Wabaunsee County. Whether someone needs help with food, shelter, health, or utilities, our organizations come together to help the community. We provide education on various topics, some including: healthy living, prevention, and addiction.
We have hosted health & wellness events, prevention and school programs, summer lunch, alternative days, community think tanks, and town halls.
We partner with SafeKids to encourage all types of safety including: seatbelt safety, providing bike helmets to students, checking car seats for correct installation and use, and education in schools and the community.
